Further more there are daily boat trips up and down the Rhine, where you can see the many Castles either side of the river. We also recommend viewing the Burg Rheinfels, as well as a visit to the Dolls Museum, and the all year open Christmas Market in St Goar.

Above the precipitous, worth seeing section Boppard-Emmelshausen, you reach by tunnel and historical brick viaducts to the Schinderhannes-cycle track in the Front Hunsrück. This applies more than 38 km on the former road route from Emmelshausen via Kastellaun after Simmern, deeply in the Hunsrück. About rapid departures you sweep any time back in the Rhine Valley.

Valley Totally

Valley Totally – autofree Rhine Valley is a big event on the last Sunday in June in the middle Rhine Valley takes place. During the arrangement are closed the B 42 between rough home and Lahnstein as well as the B 9 between Bingerbrück and Koblenz-proud rock for the strength traffic. The blockage occurs between 9 and 19 o'clock. Both streets are available during this time exclusively to the non-motorised traffic.
